Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings, packages, gift vouchers, home rentals and services provided by Renew. By booking, purchasing or using our services, you agree to the terms below.

Renew provides wellness, recovery and self-optimisation services. Our therapies are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment or professional medical advice.

Renew is a premium recovery, wellness and self-optimisation studio located inside David Lloyd Health Club and Spa, Tees Barrage Way, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6QA.
Renew is open to both David Lloyd members and non-members. Non-members are welcome and have access to attend their Renew appointments.
All appointments should be booked online, in person, by phone, email or social media message where accepted.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details when booking.
Appointment times are subject to availability.
Renew may need to rearrange or cancel appointments due to staff availability, equipment maintenance, safety reasons or circumstances outside our control. Where this happens, we will offer to rearrange the appointment or provide an appropriate alternative.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Renew is located inside David Lloyd Health Club and Spa. Enter through the barrier gates into the car park, head to the main building entrance, and Renew Self-Optimisation is located to the right of reception.
You do not need to speak to David Lloyd reception. Come straight into Renew for your appointment.
Late arrival may reduce your session time or mean the appointment cannot go ahead, depending on the booking schedule.
Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full or deducted from a package, at Renew's discretion.
No-shows may be charged in full or deducted from a package.
Renew may waive this policy in genuine exceptional circumstances, but this is at our discretion.
Where a service is booked online, by phone or by message, customers may have cancellation rights under UK consumer law.
If you ask Renew to provide a service within any applicable cancellation period, you agree that the service can begin before the cancellation period ends. If the service is provided, or partly provided, you may be charged for the service already supplied.
Once an appointment has been attended, the service is considered provided.
This section does not affect your statutory rights.
All packages must be paid for in full unless otherwise agreed.
Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless clearly stated otherwise in writing.
Unused sessions expire after 6 months and cannot be carried forward unless Renew agrees otherwise.
Packages are for the named purchaser only and cannot be transferred to another person unless Renew agrees in writing.
Packages cannot be exchanged for cash.
Package sessions are subject to appointment availability.
Renew reserves the right to withdraw, amend or replace packages at any time. Existing purchased packages will be honoured according to the terms in place at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Gift vouchers and gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless clearly stated otherwise in writing.
Gift vouchers and gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost, stolen or damaged vouchers may not be replaced.
Gift vouchers and gift cards must be used before the expiry date.
Any unused balance after the expiry date will be lost unless Renew agrees otherwise.
Prices are displayed on the website, booking system, social media or in the studio.
Renew reserves the right to update prices at any time.
Price changes do not affect bookings or packages already paid for unless agreed with the customer.
Payment may be required at the time of booking or before the service is provided.
Promotional offers cannot be combined unless clearly stated.
Customers are responsible for making Renew aware of any medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery, medication, implants, devices, allergies, sensitivities or other factors that may affect suitability for a therapy.
Renew may refuse or stop a treatment if we believe it may not be suitable or safe.
Some therapies may not be suitable for everyone, including but not limited to cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, PEMF, compression therapy and red light therapy.
If you are unsure whether a therapy is suitable, you should seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before booking.
Renew does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Our services are designed to support wellness, recovery and self-optimisation routines.
Customers should follow the clothing and preparation guidance provided for each therapy.
For some therapies, such as red light therapy and cryotherapy, more skin exposure may improve the experience. Privacy will be respected at all times.
For hyperbaric oxygen therapy, shoes must not be worn inside the chamber.
For Styku 3D body scanning, close-fitting clothing is required for accurate scanning, and jewellery, watches and bulky accessories should be removed.
Home rental equipment is subject to availability, suitability and location.
Rental prices, deposits, minimum rental periods and extra-week charges will be confirmed before rental begins.
Pick-up and drop-off are included subject to location and availability.
Full instructions will be provided for rented equipment.
Customers are responsible for using rented equipment according to the instructions provided.
Equipment must be returned complete, clean, on time and undamaged.
Deposits are refundable subject to the equipment being returned complete, clean, on time and undamaged.
Renew may deduct from the deposit for damage, missing parts, late return, excessive cleaning or failure to return equipment as agreed.
Home rental equipment must not be loaned, hired, moved to another address or used by third parties without Renew's consent.
Individual experiences and outcomes vary.
Renew does not guarantee specific results from any therapy, package, programme or home rental.
The best results from wellness and recovery therapies often come from consistency, appropriate use, lifestyle factors and suitability for the individual.
Any information provided by Renew is for general wellness and educational purposes only and should not be treated as medical advice.
Renew may work with practitioners such as physiotherapists, massage therapists, holistic therapists, Reiki practitioners or other service providers.
Practitioner availability, pricing and services may vary.
Some practitioners may operate independently while providing services from Renew's premises.
Where appropriate, practitioner-specific terms may also apply.
Renew aims to provide a calm, respectful and professional environment.
Customers must behave respectfully towards staff, practitioners, other clients and the David Lloyd premises.
Renew reserves the right to refuse service, end a session or cancel future bookings if a customer behaves in an abusive, unsafe, inappropriate or disruptive way.
Customers are responsible for their own belongings while visiting Renew.
Renew is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items unless caused by our negligence.
Renew aims to keep website information accurate and up to date, but errors may occasionally occur.
We may update website content, prices, services, offers and availability at any time.
Images, descriptions and examples are for general guidance only.
Renew will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
Renew is not responsible for losses caused by misuse of equipment, failure to follow instructions, failure to disclose relevant health information, or use of services against advice.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
